Joe Ross was born in Blackstone Virginia, and moved to New York with his family at a young age, and presently resides in Lakewood New Jersey. As a teenager he join Grace Memorial Church of God In Christ, New York City, under the Pastoral leadership of Bishop J.E. Bouldware of Chicago Illinois. After serving in Grace Memorial for many years, and working his way up the spiritual ladder, first as a Junior Choir member, Senior Choir member, Junior Deacon, and as a Church Official, Joe Ross served faithfully under Bishop Bouldware, and was rewarded by receiving many of the spiritual gifts of the anointed mantle emanating from his mentor, teacher, and spiritual father, and became the Minister of Music for many years.
